RICHMOND MOTOR CLUB OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Richmond Motor Club (Yorks) Ltd regrets to inform its members that unfortunately the Club has been subject to an act of fraud and a significant amount of money has been taken. The matter is in the hands of the police and all necessary action is being taken.

The Club would like to stress that none of the Richmond Motor Club trials will be affected by this and all our trials will run as planned. This includes the upcoming Scott Trial, which remains totally unaffected and charity monies are safe.

In light of these unforeseen circumstances, we are sure that you will understand that the Club has decided to cancel this year’s Adult Annual Awards Presentation Dinner Dance in December. Adult award winners will be advised and awards should be available to collect at the Boxing Day trial.

The whole of Richmond Motor Club is working together to get through this devastating time and hopefully we can move forward together and make plans for the future.

Please continue to support our trials and with your help we are sure that we can continue as the strong sporting Club we are.

For and on behalf of Richmond Motor Club (Yorks) Ltd
