With only 3 weeks to go to this years Scott Trial we hope that training is going well!

We have had one or two changes to the rider list.  Please find the most up to date version here:  Scott Trial 2012 Entry List

Rider Final Instructions are being emailed to all riders today and are also available to download here:  Complete rider final instructions 2012

Please would all riders, followers, spectators and friends take special notice of the following paragraph which has been added to this year’s final instructions due to vehicles being seen on parts of the course which are not open to the General Public in previous years.  Everyone’s cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated as it is putting the future of the Scott Trial in jeopardy

OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE

This is not in the spirit of the event & is also jeopardising the future of land access. Any rider’s assistant that is caught with a vehicle in a place other than on or adjacent to the public highway risks the exclusion of their rider. Please note that the majority of tracks on the moors are private roads & Trial followers are not permitted to use them. We will be actively monitoring this situation & the Observer teams have been specifically instructed to makes notes of offenders.

Due to the heavy rain the West Yorkshire Group Championship scheduled to take place at Bayliss Gap, Bewerley on Sunday (30th September) the Wetherby Motor Club have no option but to cancel the event. Ground conditions in the dense woods are at their worst conditions. The Club regret the late cancellation and have not made any decision and applying for a new date.

We have now completed the draw for the 2012 Scott Trial.  We have once again attracted a top class field with riders ranging from World Round riders to local clubmen.

There are still a few places for anyone wishing to take up the challenge!

Richmond Motor Club (Yorks) Ltd will promote a Centre Restricted Trial on 23rd September 2012 for Solo motorcycles, with classes for: – Championship Adult, Green Course, Clubman and Youth A.  2 laps of 20 Sections. This event will count towards the Yorkshire Centre Championship.  If you are able to observe could you please contact Andrew on 01748 886356, Thank you.
