Scott Trial Centenary Calendar Announcement!

Here at the Scott Headquarters we have an exciting announcement to make.  We have been working hard and have produced a Centenary Calendar for 2014 which is to launch at this year’s Scott on Saturday 19th October.  The calendar features the 12 riders who have won the Scott more than twice (and are still alive!) with pictures of them as they are now,  when they rode the trial and fantastic scenic shots of famous Scott sights in Swaledale and Arkengarthdale – but not your usual section pictures.

The Calendars will be a must have for all Scott fans and are a massive A3 size and in full colour and will hopefully appeal to trials fans and Dales fans alike.  They will be selling for £10 each with all profits going to the Scott Charities.  Calendars will also be available to post after the Scott with the addition of a charge of £3 for post and packing. Please send your cheque for £13 made payable to “The Scott Trial Account” to Chris Wallis, Park Top Farm, Marske, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL11 7LS.

Many thanks to Neil Sturgeon who took the fantastic scenic shots. Barry Robinson, Eric Kitchen and Yoomee for the riders pictures.  We think they will make great Christmas Pressies!!!!

Scott Trial 2013 – Rider Final Instructions and Updated Rider List

With under 3 weeks to go to this years Scott Trial (Saturday October 19th 2013) we hope that training is going well!

We have had one or two changes to the rider list.  Please find the most up to date version here:  Rider List 2013

Rider Final Instructions are being emailed to all riders today and are also available to download here:  Complete rider final instructions 2013

Please would all riders, followers, spectators and friends take special notice of the following paragraph which has again been included to this year’s final instructions due to vehicles being seen on parts of the course which are not open to the General Public in previous years.  Everyone’s cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated as it is putting the future of the Scott Trial in jeopardy

OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE

This is not in the spirit of the event & is also jeopardising the future of land access. Any rider’s assistant that is caught with a vehicle in a place other than on or adjacent to the public highway risks the exclusion of their rider. Please note that the majority of tracks on the moors are private roads & Trial followers are not permitted to use them. We will be actively monitoring this situation & the Observer teams have been specifically instructed to makes notes of offenders.
