Scott logo

We have had a couple of reports of lost property around the course on Scott Trial day.

A large bunch of keys with a dog clip to attach to a belt loop, possibly lost around the Grand Canyon or Clapgate section areas.

A pink tablet, possibly lost around the Bridge End section area.

If anyone has seen these or has picked them up, please could you let The Scott Trial Secretary know by emailing scottsecretary@richmondmotorclub.com or phone 01748 886434

Many thanks

Thanks from Rob McElnea

Cristian Naranjo Roan from the Canary Islands rode the Scott this year with the help of former Grand Prix road racer and triple TT winner Rob McElnea.  It was a pleasure for us to meet Rob and Cristian and the extracts from Rob’s thank you below, along with the photo show that The Scott Trial has made an impression on Cristian too!

Just a quick note to say thanks for all your help leading up to and over the Scott weekend, I am fully aware of how much you have on your plates without a foreigner turning up ! it is fair to say we have all made a life long impression for Cristian !
From watching the DVDs for the last four years to eventually getting to compete (and complete the course) is nothing short of amazing ! having never ridden in water never mind a 70 mile lap over the moors it was pretty incredible what he did, we managed to get to see him a couple of times and he never stopped smiling!
Meeting up with Phil Alderson and his family and getting a little tuition from the old master was another memory bank filler for him, Richard Sadler and his gang took him around on Saturday and he got to meet so many of the trial family and your fantastic Richmond club.
He has a great personality and seemed to have many followers over the weekend, digging in Scott style certainly gained him some respect!
I have dropped him at Luton Airport, he flies at 6am Monday and is on night shift when he gets home, bumped back to reality!

The Scott is a monster and to see it close hand the work involved and to follow with the fans and get to feel for the passion was fantastic, our sport either road racing or trial is built on passion and the Richmond club have it bucket loads !!

Once again a big thanks from Rob Mac Team !
