Scott Trial Charity Presentation Evening

The  Scott Charity Presentation Evening was held on Friday 17th February at the Buck Hotel Reeth. This year a total of £8,500 was being given out to local charities, making a total of over £115,000 donated in the time that Richmond Motor Club have run the trial. John Fraser, the Scott Chairman said a few words about how the money is raised with programme sales, entry fees, an auction on the night and very generous sponsorship of the event and awards. He then introduced Counc. Harold Brown who is an ardent supporter of the Scott and has helped to gain planning permision in the past from the National Parks. He then presented the cheques to the various charities that were present. A list of recipients are as follows (in no particular order)

World Trial Penrith 27/28/29 July 2012

Exciting news for trials fans as the World Trials Championship returns to Nord Vue, Penrith, Cumbria  at the end of July!  Event directors John Kerwin and Graham Jarvis promise an improved trial over 2009 as the venue mature’s , the trade village will be bigger  and the early support from the trade has been excellent with most of the major importers taking stands. For those that came in 2009 you will know how good this compact venue is,  with all the sections just minutes from the start stage, work has already begun on the sections Graham Jarvis will pit his section building skills against the best trials riders in the world and with great spectator viewing you won’t miss the action of your favourite stars.  The venue offers good car parking and camping areas including a campsite bar.
