The Reeth 3 Day entries have now closed and the response has been high again with nearly 290 entries received for the 250 places.  We have held the ballot and will have details of the lucky riders hopefully by next weekend.

To keep the postman busy we opening entries for the following trials: First come first served so don’t delay!

The Gerald Simpson Centre Trial will be held on Sunday May 14th and entries are now open.  A great run out with one big lap of approx. 30 miles and 40 sections.   This is a pre-entry trial limited to 150 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, but riders providing an observer (please give details on entry form) will be given preference. The Blue Bar Trophy 2 Day Trial will be held on Saturday and Sunday 27th & 28th May and entries are now open.  Always a great, sociable weekend in the heart of Coverdale with basic camping facilities and catering available all weekend. The Mintex Trophy Trial will be held on Sunday 18th June and entries are now open.  This is a pre-entry Youth time and Observation National Trial for A and B class riders (C class with ACU approval only) and has been nicknamed as the ‘Mini Scott’!  The trial is becoming more and more popular each year and entries are limited to 150 and close on the 8th June 2016. Richmond Motor Club would like to thank the Landowner, Clerk of the Course and helpers, Secretary and anyone else involved in the running of today’s trial. Also thank you to all the riders for entering and taking part.  A big thank you to today’s observers for standing out in the rain.

Just a quick reminder to everyone that we are holding an extra trial this Saturday – 1st April at Kidstones (DL8 3TG) .  Richard Sadler the Clerk of the Course and helpers has been busy marking out in Bishopdale and its set to be a great afternoons sport in a lovely location that we haven’t used for a couple of years.  If you want to get ahead and fill in your entry form in advance you can download one here. Kidstones Trial 2017 – Entry Form  There will be one course with 3 routes for Hard, Green and Clubman and its for competent C Class and above.  It’s a 1.30pm (prompt) start and there will be NO catering this week. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Don’t forget Reeth 3 Day Entries close on 1st April, and we hope to launch the Mintex, Gerald Simpson and Blue Bar entries later on this weekend.

Our next RMC Trial (The Andrew Allison Memorial Trial) is on Sunday 19th March 2017.  There will be 3 courses Hard, Green and Clubman with competent C Class and above youth riders as well as adults.  This trial’s results will go towards the RMC Championship awards and there will be the Andrew Allison Trophy awarded for the Best Performance on the Clubman Course by a rider who has never competed in a higher course & the Noel Peacock Trophy for the Best Performance on the Hard Course.  Start time is 10.30am and there will be catering at the start field.  Entries close on the day but if you want to get an entry form filled in before hand you can download one here: Entry Form – Andrew Allison Memorial Trial 2017 .  The Clerk of the Course is running a big lap as usual but with a few different sections and new land and we are therefore looking for Observers especially those with a bike.  If you are able to observe either with or without a bike please contact Nick Hunt on 07773273813 or AG Brown on 07970016239 or email secretary@richmondmotorclub.com
Parking is on the side of road, but the actual start of trial is at Helwith at the gate. No riding on the tarmac, as although a dead end, it is still a public road.

Scott Trial Awards Co-ordinator – The Scott Trial are looking for someone to co-ordinate the many awards/cups and replicas which are presented at the Scott Trial each year.  If you are keen to know more about this interesting post please email scottsecretary@richmondmotorclub.com
