Scott Trial 2012 – Entry List

We have now completed the draw for the 2012 Scott Trial.  We have once again attracted a top class field with riders ranging from World Round riders to local clubmen.

Scott Trial 2012 – Regs now available

It’s come to that time once again when the Scott 2012 regs and entry forms are available to download and entries open.  This year’s Scott Trial takes place on Saturday 20th October 2012 and entries close on Friday 7th September 2012.  As usual the field is limited to 200 riders and entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis so make sure you get your entries in early to avoid dissapointment.  Regs and entry forms are available to download here:   Scott Regs 2012      Scott Entry Form 2012

AWARDS LIST FOR THE TRIAL 2012

This is a fantastically unique event for British Youth Riders which would not run without the support of many people.

Thank you to all the Riders for showing enthusiasm, determination and endeavour.

Thank you to all our loyal landowners for allowing us access across their land, especially after the uncharacteristic summer weather.

Thank you to all the sponsors whose kind support allows us to continue to run this event.

Thank you to the Clerk Of the Course and of course his phenomenal team who today have been Richmond Motor Club at their best, Observers, Marshalls and Assistants.

A special Thank you to Chris Wallis, for acting as Results Secretary today and to our Awards Secretaries Carol Richardson and Cath Hillary, who coordinate the awards ceremony so wonderfully.

A final Thank you goes to our National and Centre Stewards for attending today’s event.

Scott Trial Charity Presentation Evening

The  Scott Charity Presentation Evening was held on Friday 17th February at the Buck Hotel Reeth. This year a total of £8,500 was being given out to local charities, making a total of over £115,000 donated in the time that Richmond Motor Club have run the trial. John Fraser, the Scott Chairman said a few words about how the money is raised with programme sales, entry fees, an auction on the night and very generous sponsorship of the event and awards. He then introduced Counc. Harold Brown who is an ardent supporter of the Scott and has helped to gain planning permision in the past from the National Parks. He then presented the cheques to the various charities that were present. A list of recipients are as follows (in no particular order)
